Fraunhofer IPMS and TSN Lab forge Partnership to promote TSN technology in South Korea

Fraunhofer IPMS has signed a partnership agreement with TSN Lab to advance the development and dissemination of Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) technology in South Korea. This partnership will enhance Fraunhofer IPMS‘ presence in the Asian market and strengthen its position as a leader in innovative networking solutions. TSN Lab is a leader in Korea in the field of Integrated Real-Time Solutions. Together with Fraunhofer IPMS‘ expertise in TSN IP Cores, they aim to drive innovation and efficiency in the rapidly evolving field of real-time data communication.
The goal of this cooperation is to promote Ethernet-based TSN IP cores as a new technology for high-precision time synchronization in networks in South Korea. TSN represents a significant technological advancement that is increasingly being applied in various industries and products. It enables fast and secure data communication and is based on established standards that are continuously evolving to unlock broader application areas.

Target industries for TSN include automotive, aerospace, railway, space, and telecommunications. TSN Lab brings extensive experience in research and industrial projects and will serve as a key partner in the implementation and dissemination of this technology. The collaboration underlines the long-standing economic connection between Fraunhofer IPMS and Korean research organizations and the industry.
