Anniversary: Ten years NORD Portugal

NORD DRIVESYSTEMS PTP, the Portuguese branch of German drive manufacturer NORD DRIVESYSTEMS, celebrates the 10th anniversary of its establishment this year.

NORD is an industry leader for mechanical, electrical and electronic drive technology. All across the world, the company supplies thousands of customers from more than 100 different industrial sectors. NORD Portugal is part of this global network with international subsidiaries in 36 countries. Founded on 13 September 2007 in the city of Oiã Aveiro in the Northwestern part of Portugal, NORD DRIVESYSTEMS PTP provides Portuguese clients with individual drive solutions. From a facility with some 1000 m² of production floor, the local team comprising eleven members offers comprehensive technical advice as well as after sales support. In addition to geared motors, motors and industrial gear units, the product range includes frequency inverters and starters for central installation as well as for distributed drive system operation. Products are designed with energy efficiency in mind in order to save operating costs and help protect the environment.
