SANY Group, in collaboration with Wing Lee Group, CATL, and Fanlan Technology, held the Zero Carbon Smart Alliance Launch Ceremony and Zero Carbon Smart Space Opening Ceremony in Hong Kong. The event marked a significant step toward accelerating digital, intelligent, and low-carbon transformation across the industry, while promoting policy evolution and collaborative growth.
Sustainable development is a global imperative, while digitalization and decarbonization offers a practical pathway forward. As an international financial hub, Hong Kong actively supports global carbon reduction initiatives through policy support and technological innovation. The Zero Carbon Smart Alliance brings together leading enterprises engaging in new energy sector, not only contributing to Hong Kong’s green development, but also creating a replicable model for international markets.

The alliance focuses on an integrated solution covering “solar generation, energy storage, EV charging, battery swapping, and recycling”. It aims to build a comprehensive platform for green transportation, construction, smart solar-storage systems, and AI applications—laying the foundation for a sustainable future in Hong Kong and beyond.
Distinguished guests in attendance included Mr. Tse Chin-wan, Secretary for Environment and Ecology of the HKSAR; LegCo Members Mr. Lau Kwok-fan and Mr. Yan Gang; Mr. Thomas Ho, Chairman of the Construction Industry Council; and other business and government leaders. They expressed strong support for the alliance. Mr. Tse remarked that the initiative reflects corporate commitment to green transformation and will inject new momentum into sustainable development in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area.
Mr. Zhou Wanchun, Vice President of SANY Group, stated that SANY is proud to be part of this landmark initiative and will continue fulfilling its responsibility in driving “Zero Carbon Smart Alliance + Space” forward in Hong Kong. Looking ahead, the alliance will follow the direction of China’s “New Productive Forces” strategy, spearheading Hong Kong’s low-carbon development and reinforcing its leadership in green development across the Greater Bay Area.
