Liebherr is ramping up its offer to Chinese customers regarding the servicing of aircraft equipment. The company continues building-up its industrial footprint at its facility Liebherr (China) Co., Ltd. in Shanghai for maintenance, repair, overhaul (MRO) as well as for testing and reconditioning of its OEM heat transfer equipment directly on site and close to the customers.
To make the relevant and required know-how available to its employees, Liebherr relies on intensive training. For this reason, employees of Liebherr (China) Co., Ltd. joined their colleagues at the Liebherr facility in Singapore where the combined product and process training was conducted by Jay Roberts, process expert at Liebherr’s center of competence for MRO heat transfer equipment in Saline, Michigan (USA).
„The training underscores how Liebherr-Aerospace's versatile global support strengthens our local customer service – especially for Chinese airlines that rely on customized OEM maintenance solutions,” commented Eric Thévenot, General Manager developing Aerospace Customer Services at Liebherr (China) Co., Ltd.
Based on the close cooperation and exchange between its various locations worldwide, Liebherr-Aerospace is responding to the increasing demand for MRO services. The company’s products are on board a large number of commercial aircraft worldwide – with growing importance for the Chinese market.
