Having successfully assisted the client Taoyuan Metro Corporation in selecting the system and completing the basic design, our teams in Taiwan are now progressing to the construction phase, focusing on the core system and Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety (RAMS).
This new project phase will be carried out in collaboration with engineering consultants TY Lin Taiwan, the first time that we are working with this company as part of the Project Management & Supervision Team.
The Brown Line will connect with the Taoyuan Green Line at BRH01 station and continue to join the MRT Zhonghe–Xinlu line at BRH07 station. The project aims to enhance connectivity between Taoyuan and the Greater Taipei area, serving a population of 10 million. It will provide the shortest transportation corridor between Taipei and Taoyuan, reducing travel time to 18 minutes (compared to 47 min before).
The Taoyuan Metro, officially the Taoyuan Mass Rapid Transit System, serves Taoyuan City, as well as parts of New Taipei City and Taipei City, in Taiwan. The Airport line, officially the Taoyuan Airport MRT opened for service 2017. There are currently 11 other lines and extensions at planning stage or under construction, including the Brown Line.
