National Traffic Safety and Environmental Laboratory Adopt MD8475B for Japan eCall UN-R144 Compliance Tests
Anritsu Corporation is pleased to announce that the Administrative Agency of Japan NTSEL (National Traffic Safety and Environment Laboratory) has adopted the Signalling Tester MD8475B for compliance testing.
NTSEL is a type of approval organization for in-vehicle UN-R144 compliant eCall (Emergency Call) AECS (Accident Emergency Call System) referenced by the Japan eCall standard.
The MD8475B can be used in conjunction with the TPS (Third Party Service) eCall server in accordance with a Japan standard to test for compliance with UN standards (UN-R144 Annex 11 Table 10 Performance test method 3).

Signalling Tester MD8475B
The MD8475B test platform supports simulation of 2G to 4G Radio Access Technology (RAT) networks to offer a development and compliance test environment for automobile use-cases, including Telematics, Infotainment, and V2X.
Combining the MD8475B with the PSAP Simulator MX703330E software facilitates eCall compliance tests defined by the EU eCall, EU NG112, Russia ERA-GLONASS, Korea eCall, and other national standards.
