ECOC Exhibition 2020
Organisers unveil exciting and engaging features for first-ever fully virtual ECOC Exhibition.
WHAT?
Attendees to the first-ever fully virtual ECOC Exhibition will experience a number of exciting and engaging new features, including a virtual exhibition hall – allowing visitors to visit individual booths just as they would if they were walking through the physical exhibition. Each virtual booth will include features such as video demonstrations and live meeting rooms and discussions.
The popular Market Focus, featuring topics including Transportation sensing and 5G, will return as live and pre-recorded sessions – meaning attendees can view and watch as many as they please at their convenience. Sessions will be moderated meaning attendees can still take part in polls and Q&A sessions.
An awards ceremony will take place for the first ever ECOC Exhibition Industry Awards on Wednesday 8th December.
Training sessions will be available to watch on demand for people to learn new skills at their own pace. The FTTx Centres will return virtually as pods, making it easier to find the relevant area and watch live demonstrations from the FTTx team (led by CTTS Training) as well as pre-recorded product demonstrations.
As soon as attendees have registered, they can start creating personalised schedules, and start choosing who they would like to meet. One week before the event, they will be invited to view the full timetable.

WHY?
Whilst ECOC Exhibition would have hoped to be able to welcome you to the exhibition halls in Brussels in December for its 25th anniversary event, due to the ongoing restrictions and circumstances beyond its control, including travel disruptions due to the pandemic, both the ECOC Exhibition and Conference have no alternative but to move to become a fully online event.
Its priority will always be the health and safety of its visitors, exhibitors and all of its attendees. Although ECOC Exhibition is disappointed that it won’t get to welcome you in person this year, it wanted to make sure as many visitors and exhibitors can still experience the key meeting place for the optical communications industry in a safe way.
WHEN/HOW TO REGISTER?
ECOC Exhibition will take place virtually from Monday 7th December to Wednesday 9th December.
