Sughd Metal has achieved full production capacity at its welded steel tube plant in Tajikistan, reaching an annual output of 100,000 tonnes following the commissioning of two OTO tube mills supplied by Fives.
Production capacity and plant configuration
The Sughd Metal facility is located in the Bobodjon-Gafurov district of Tajikistan and operates as an integrated production site combining metal cutting, processing, tube manufacturing, and packaging. The plant was designed to produce up to 100,000 tonnes of welded steel tubes per year, a level that has now been reached and exceeded.
Continuous operation of two OTO tube mills forms the core of the production line. The mills support stable, high-throughput manufacturing and enable Sughd Metal to meet demand across regional markets while maintaining consistent output levels.
