dSPACE Opens Software Development Site in Trivandrum, India

dSPACE officially opened its software development site in Trivandrum/India in the attendance of Mr. P Rajeev, Minister for Industries, Law, and Coir in the Government of Kerala. With initially around 25 employees, dSPACE India Software and Technologies Pvt. Ltd. By expanding and globalizing its development capacities, dSPACE will be able to offer Indian customers tailored solutions and also meet the requirements of global customers in a timely manner.
Highly talented engineering pool available locally
The main reason for locating dSPACE India Software and Technologies in Trivandrum is the high level of IT expert education available locally. The aim is to rapidly expand the dSPACE development team and double it by the end of the year.
Franklin George, Managing Director of dSPACE India S&T, said: "We are delighted to welcome so many highly skilled new colleagues to the dSPACE family as we open our new facility. Beyond software development expertise, dSPACE S&T will build competencies in engineering, support, and remote HIL services to fully support its local customers."
The objective is to work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to the future of mobility. The focus will be on electromobility, autonomous driving, software-defined vehicles (SDVs), active safety functions, and virtual end-to-end validation. dSPACE has already been represented by its own sales company, dSPACE India Solutions Pvt. Ltd. based in Bangalore, since 2023.
