PEPPERL+FUCHS FACTORY AUTOMATION
F192-UHF Read/Write Head for Large Detection Ranges
UHF read/write heads from Pepperl+Fuchs function reliably even under harsh ambient conditions, while still offering a high level of flexibility.

The F192 is supplementing the product family with its outstanding properties to also cover logistics applications in the future and achieve read distances in excess of 2 m. Building on the proven F190 RFID read/write head, and offering a detection range of up to six meters, the F192 is ideally suited for applications involving large distances. The device can read and write up to 200 tags simultaneously, enabling a particularly fast throughput and in turn increasing productivity.

Whether in the automotive industry, intralogistics, or transportation, the UHF read/write heads function reliably even in difficult conditions and at high temperatures depending on the required detection range. What's more, the devices also offer a high level of flexibility: The antenna polarization for reliable tag detection can be manually set horizontally or vertically, or switched fully automatically for each read/write access, depending on the application.
Both devices in the product family have IP67 degree of protection and feature a stable metal base. A further significant plus point is the possibility of enabling the read/write heads to be used in every country. The devices are provided with the respective country-specific parameters, such as maximum transmission power or used frequency bands. This feature simplifies system integration considerably. Both series feature a highly visible LED display, which facilitates status control in the field—even from long distances.
