ENEMACS smallest torque limiter ECA Safety coupling for the smallest installation spaces
In almost all areas of technology, machines or products have to be protected against overload, this also happens with torque limiters from ENEMAC. Specially developed for toothed belt drives, the ECA overload clutch offers protection against such collisions.
The torque limiter separates the input and output within a few degrees. Simple, light elements prevent disadvantageous mass or switching inertia. These were chosen because switching elements which are too heavy could significantly increase the (statically set) disengagement torque and thus also destructive collision forces in the event of a dynamic collision!
The ECA is 'tried and tested' in the ENEMAC program. This results in a large Proliferation of options. In addition to the 17 sizes for setting ranges between 0.5 and 470 Nm, each of which is available with a taper bush or keyway, there are also many special versions such as special setting ranges, special switch plates and stainless variants.
The mature principle guarantees high safety standards. With the toothed belt pulley, the ECA forms a compact unit that takes up little additional space and is available in different versions.
Of particular note in this series is the type ECA 1, since it is probably one of the smallest torque limiters available on the market.
