Faurecia is named 2021 Automotive News PACE Awards finalist
Faurecia, one of the world’s leading automotive technology companies, is pleased to announce that their IRYStec Perceptual Display Platform Vision is a finalist for the 2021 Automotive News PACE Awards.
'Faurecia is proud to be recognized by Automotive News for our Perceptual Display Platform Vision. Being named a PACE finalist is a tremendous honor and reflects our commitment to delivering enhanced user experiences and solutions to our customers.'
-Tara Akhavan, Founder and General Manager of IRYStec
Faurecia’s Perceptual Display Platform Vision is the world’s first software platform using perception and physiology to optimize infotainment display screens. Recently launched on the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet convertible, Faurecia’s technology improves screen quality and visibility for the driver, providing a safer and more comfortable user experience.
IRYStec, a software startup based in Montreal, Canada, was acquired by Faurecia in July 2020 and integrated into its Faurecia Clarion Electronics business group. IRYStec plays a key role in Faurecia’s Cockpit of the Future strategy by improving both display personalization and energy efficiency.
The 2021 finalist recognition adds to Faurecia’s legacy of success with the PACE Awards. In 2019, Faurecia earned a PACE Award for its Resonance Free Pipe technology, and in 2016, Faurecia earned two PACE Awards for its Adaptive Valve and Cover Carving technologies.
For the last 27 years, the PACE Awards have honored superior innovation, technological advancement, and business performance among automotive suppliers. Judged by an independent panel of technologists, this award is recognized worldwide as the industry benchmark for innovation.
