FPT INDUSTRIAL F34 STAGE V ENGINE ADOPTED BY FIRST TRACTOR MANUFACTURER IN KOREA

LS Mtron has become the first Korean tractor manufacturer to adopt the class-leading F34 Stage V engine from FPT Industrial. Offering 55kW of maximum power at 2200 rpm and 375Nm of torque at 1400 rpm, the F34 Stage V is the driving force behind the new LS Mtron XP7074 Utility class 2 AG tractor.

In February 2021, LS Mtron introduced in the market its new 55kW AG tractor, a model which falls within Utility class 2 size specifications. LS Mtron is able to use a 55kW Stage V engine on its new Utility class 2 size tractor thanks to the performance levels of FPT’s F34, particularly the impressive torque. Furthermore, in the tractor engine power range between 50 and 70kW, the LS XP7074 with its F34 55kW engine offers the lowest vibration level, while engine noise output is just 75dB, a record in Korea.


Due to regulations surrounding tractors outputting power of 55kW or more, the new LS XP7074 - with its 74hp F34 engine - does not require the addition of a urea-based liquid solution, making it very convenient to manage. Moreover, excellent fuel economy is assured.

For compliance with the most recent emissions standards, the F34 Stage V engine adopts a DOC (Diesel Oxidation Catalyst) and DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) after-treatment system. Using a robust design approach, the engine offers high torque output to ensure quick response in variable load conditions. Attributes such as 600-hour oil change intervals and single-side servicing reduce operating costs and simplify maintenance operations over the lifecycle of the engine.
