High density for sensor and automation applications
The new 12-pin M8 male panel-mount connectors with dip-soldered contacts of the Series 768/718 supplement the selection from binder with high-performance products for signal and data transmission.
M8 male panel-mount connectors with dip-soldered contacts of the Series 768/718.In the automation industry, M8 connectors are considered the standard because of their specific properties. This is because they make it possible to transmit signals and data in the field with a small footprint and sensors that are becoming ever smaller. The M8 product portfolio of binder is now being expanded by a series offering extremely dense, 12-pin male panel-mount connectors with dip-soldered contacts.
Versatile
The Series 768/718 products were designed for signal and data transmission applications and are being used in the newest automation systems, sensor arrangements, industrial cameras as well as measurement and control technology. The male and female panel-mount connectors are easy to install and can be screw-mounted at the front. They are available in different designs with or without a shielding plate. The rated current is 1 A, the rated voltage is 32 V and the operating temperature range extends from -40°C to +85°C.
A new face
The 12-pin male panel-mount connectors of the Series 768/718 got a facelift with the C-coding and, when locked, provide IP 67 protection. The screw locking system of the connectors complies with DIN EN 61076-2-104. The housing is made of polyurethane (PUR) and has gold-plated crimp contacts that can be dip soldered. A nickel-plated threaded ring made of die-cast zinc ensures a sturdy connection of the connectors designed for more than 100 mating cycles.
