Yamaha to present innovations and future technologies at Productronica 2019
Booth 323, Hall A3 to feature automation engineered for future-proof flexibility and productivity.
Yamaha Motor Europe SMT Section is to demonstrate advanced automation and software solutions at Productronica 2019, across several dedicated focus areas at booth 323 in Hall A3.An intelligent factory area will show the latest control and management software tools with the high-speed surface-mount machines of Yamaha’s True Total Line Solution including YSP10 printer, YSi-SP solder paste inspection, YSM20R mounters, and YSi-V 3D AOI.
The software demonstration will highlight the new Dashboard, which provides powerful and intuitive controls, Image Viewer that lets users quickly retrieve any inspection or alignment picture from every assembly for analysis, and the latest features for controlling equipment remotely, managing AOI, and optimising setup.
Within the intelligent factory area, Autonomous Guided Vehicles will feature in regular demonstrations throughout each day to show how materials can be moved efficiently and on time to wherever they are needed in the factory communicating with Intelligent SMD tower, YST15.
In a separate area focusing on pick-and-place variation, the high-speed Sigma G5S II flexible multi-head placer and iPulse hybrid mounter will demonstrate flexible capabilities for taking on extreme challenges such as very high density assemblies and populating 3D substrates.
Completing the working displays of advanced technology in action, the Yamaha robotic area will demonstrate robotic electronics assembly processes that maximise flexibility and repeatability. Visitors can also see a static display featuring Yamaha’s inventive Niken — the world’s first multi-wheel production motorcycle — engineered for extra confidence in tough conditions and supporting the future-focused theme of the booth.
As always, Yamaha engineers and technical sales staff will be present throughout the event to explain the new technologies and their competitive benefits for OEMs and assemblers. It’s all to see at Stand 323, Hall A3, November 12-15, 2019.
