RS Components adds 20 percent more Molex interconnect products to stock.

Range expansion includes FCT and Brad, plus new packaging options.

LONDON, UK, xx Month, 2018 - RS Components (RS), the trading brand of Electrocomponents plc (LSE:ECM), a global multi-channel distributor, has increased its stocked product range from interconnect manufacturer Molex by more than 20 percent. The RS range expansion includes both new products and additional packaging options.
First, more than 1,000 Molex FPC (flexible printed circuit), board-to-board and automotive connectors have been added to the RS range. Second, over 500 parts from Molex subsidiary FCT are now stocked, in particular for the industrial communications market. FCT products include high-density D-sub connectors, circular connectors, hoods and contacts. RS has also added 200 products from Molex’s Brad branded industrial connector range.
Two new packaging options are available. Over 350 Molex FPC products, board-to-board connectors and crimp terminals have been introduced in manufacturer pack quantities, while some FPC products and board-to-board connectors are also available in mini-reel format.
