PROPAK 2018: Interroll presents scalable and energy-efficient solutions

Bangkok, Thailand, June 4, 2018. Picking, packaging, conveying and storing are crucial intralogistics processes that require innovative solutions. The upcoming PROPAK trade fair in Bangkok, Thailand from June 13 to 16, will be the stage for Interroll’s hygienic, space saving and energy-efficient solutions for material handling.

One of this year’s highlights will be a loop of Interroll’s Modular Conveyor Platform (MCP) which offers flexible and scalable configuration with standard plug-and-play components. It accommodates all conveying needs and offers flexibility for future growth. End users benefit from low energy consumption leading to savings in operational cost. Also on display is the Magnetic Speed Control MSC 50, an innovative solution for gravity lanes, which reliably decelerates goods from 0.5 kg to 35 kg to minimize the risk of product and personnel damages. Completely wear-free, the MSC 50 guarantees highest availability and. As simple plug-and-play device, it is also the perfect retrofit solution.

Interroll will also present its Pallet Flow solutions for different warehouse sizes and turnover rates within the food & beverage industry. They are a very cost-effective option in the long term. Thanks to their efficiency and robustness, they ensure long-term availability and greater flexibility for short-term order peaks. The compact design of a modern flow storage warehouse also reduces space requirements by up to 50 per cent compared with conventional solutions.

A further highlight will be the new generation drum motors, which meet the highest hygiene requirements and are fitted with the high degree of IP69k protection, which makes cleaning the facility much faster and easier and also reduces the risk of product contamination in the food processing area.
