Delta to unveil New Data Center Infrastructure Solutions at CeBIT 2018
28 May 2018, under the theme of ‘Data Center Infrastructure Total Solutions’, at CeBIT 2018 (12 – 15 June 2018), Delta, a global leader in power and thermal management solutions, will demonstrate how it has again strengthened its position as a leading brand in data center infrastructure solutions. With its complete offering of AC and DC power, cooling systems, Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) and data center solutions - which range from single rack and modular to containerized solutions – Delta’s wide range meets the needs of the growing number of Edge Data Centers and Cloud-based Data Centers. Delta’s solutions can been seen at stand D113, Hall 12.
For Edge Data Centers, Delta will demonstrate its Smart Modular Data Center Solutions, as well as its High Performance UPS and Green Precision Cooling offerings. For Cloud Data Centers, Delta will demonstrate its Smart Power Distribution Solutions and its UPS and Energy Storage Protection offerings, as well as its DCIM solutions.New from Delta at CeBIT 2018, will be its Smarter Modular Data Center Solutions. These benefit from a fully integrated design, combined with scalable system architecture to make them ideal for future data center applications. Quick to deploy and highly reliable, they are also highly efficient and eco-friendly.
Delta will also show its latest Lithium Ion Battery Solutions for UPS Systems. Offering a high investment value, they are an innovative energy storage protection solution for data centers and mission critical infrastructure. They have been designed to offer double the life of traditional batteries and provide simpler maintenance, as well as delivering the advantage of reduced cooling requirements combined with improved backup storage predictability and manageability (with a Battery Management System included). Importantly, users will also benefit from a reduced total cost of ownership.
Visitors to the stand will also be able to see Delta’s Cast Resin Busway System, which is a flexible, safe and reliable Low Voltage Power Distribution Solution. It offers continuous plug-in core technologies, which are available for expansion and power distribution. It is also an ultra-safe solution that satisfies the requirements of data centers, while conforming to different standards - depending on market or customer needs - such as IEC, CNS and GB. Clever design means that it is also a space-saving and weight-saving solution that overcomes the space and load bearing challenges faced by data centers. With safety in mind, it has been engineered with highly-integrated composite materials, developed to significantly reduce Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), while protecting precision devices located in the data center. Most importantly, it also ensures the health and safety of data center employees.
Commenting on its presence at CeBIT 2018, Mr. Charles Tsai, General Manager of Mission Critical Infrastructure Solutions Business Unit in Delta Electronics, said: “Delta has participated CeBIT, one of the largest IT trade shows in the world, for five consecutive years. Delta continually offers innovative technology of data center solitons to markets. Delta is confident that the new products it will show at CeBIT combined with its comprehensive range meet the needs of data centers both today and in the future.”
