Mitsubishi Electric to Present Latest Digital Manufacturing Solutions at IIFES 2025

Exhibiting under the global slogan Automating the World, Mitsubishi Electric will present a wide-ranging lineup of Digital Manufacturing Solutions that highlight the company’s strengths in automation, digitalization, and sustainability. With a focus on solving real-world challenges across design, manufacturing, operation, and maintenance, the booth demonstrates how Mitsubishi Electric is supporting a flexible, efficient, and sustainable future for manufacturing.

Solutions for GPU production
A key highlight of the booth is a fully automated demonstration line that simulates the production of GPUs – critical components in the rapidly expanding market for AI data servers and high-performance computing systems. The demo line reflects the growing need for manufacturing systems that can handle complex, high-precision assembly processes at speed, while maintaining quality and traceability.
Combining advanced motion control, robotics, linear track systems, vision systems, real-time data integration, and OT (Operational Technology) security, the line showcases many of Mitsubishi Electric’s latest technologies working in harmony.

Alongside the main demonstration, visitors can explore several key exhibits across dedicated zones. These include:
  • Design & Simulation Zone
This zone focuses on rapid, flexible production line design using digital twin technology. Visitors can explore how tools like MELSOFT Gemini and MELSOFT Mirror enable 3D simulation and virtual commissioning when utilizing a VR headset, supporting faster deployment and smoother startup.
  • Smart Manufacturing Zone
The smart manufacturing zone highlights the MELSEC MX Controller, a powerful new platform offering ultra-fast, high-precision multi-axis motion control. Paired with the new GOT3000 HMI and FREQROL-D800 inverter, the zone showcases how real-time data, predictive maintenance, linear track systems, and intelligent motion control can boost productivity. Additionally, it supports high-mix, low-volume manufacturing, and is compatible with advanced industrial networks, including TSN enabled CC-Link IE TSN.
  • Future Technologies Zone
Here, Mitsubishi Electric introduces advanced technologies aimed at addressing wider societal and environmental needs. One of the highlights is pulse electrolytic processing, a new food processing technique that enhances preservation and quality while reducing energy consumption and waste.
  • Operation & Maintenance Zone
In this zone, visitors can see how Mitsubishi Electric uses AI and IoT to streamline operation and maintenance tasks. Demonstrations will include generative AI agents that support troubleshooting and diagnostics, helping engineers reduce downtime, improve quality, and maintain equipment performance more efficiently.
  • Carbon Neutral Zone
The Carbon Neutral Zone highlights Mitsubishi Electric’s commitment to sustainability and showcases innovative solutions aimed at decarbonization and environmental traceability. A key feature is a demonstration of carbon footprint (CFP) calculation, made possible through standardized data connectivity with Catena-X – the European-led platform for cross-industry sustainability data sharing.
  • Partner Zone
The Partner Zone emphasizes Mitsubishi Electric’s collaborative approach to manufacturing, illustrating how strategic partnerships foster innovation and enhance efficiency throughout the production lifecycle. Joint exhibits with partners such as Anywire, ViSCO Technologies, Mitsubishi Electric Engineering, and Mitsubishi Electric System & Service demonstrate how integrated end-to-end solutions can support every stage of the manufacturing lifecycle.

Seminar Program
Finally, Mitsubishi Electric is also hosting four seminars that explore visions for the future of manufacturing. Topics include AI and data-driven transformation, global industry trends, factory automation (FA) digital solutions, and comprehensive proposals aimed at automation, labor savings, and energy efficiency.
