Rohde & Schwarz offers bandwidth upgrades for selected oscilloscopes at no extra charge

Bandwidth is the most important aspect of an oscilloscope. To support design engineers in current and future design challenges, Rohde & Schwarz is introducing an attractive promotion for selected oscilloscope models: when purchasing an R&S RTO2000 or R&S RTP, now customers can upgrade the bandwidth with no extra costs.

Rohde & Schwarz upgrades R&S FSW signal and spectrum analyzer to 8.3 GHz internal analysis bandwidth

With the new R&S FSW-B8001 option, the well-established R&S FSW high-end signal and spectrum analyzer now supports an industry-leading 8.3 GHz internal analysis bandwidth, offering unequaled dynamic range and sensitivity. Design engineers developing latest radar and wireless communications technologies as well as future satellite systems will benefit significantly from the extended bandwidth available in a one-box solution.

Rohde & Schwarz significantly enhances 5G device certification capabilities with the R&S TS8980 test system

Rohde & Schwarz fulfills the certification entry criteria (CEC) for a greatly increased number of the Global Certification Forum's (GCF) work items (WI) and PCS Type Certification Review Board (PTCRB) requests for 5G FR1 RF conformance testing. Thanks to 572 new GCF validations and 215 new PTCRB validations for the R&S TS8980FTA 3A, the updated version of the leading RF test system R&S TS8980 can now perform a broad range of 5G device certification tests.

Rohde & Schwarz presents a new Q/V band RF upconverter for testing satellite payloads

To enable continually higher data rates for end users of satellite links, satellite operators are using higher frequencies, such as the Q/V band, where larger bandwidths are available. The new R&S SZV100A RF upconverter from Rohde & Schwarz now offers a solution for testing broadband transponders in the payloads of very high throughput satellites (VHTS). With its 2 GHz modulation bandwidth, the R&S SZV100A covers the entire frequency range from 36 GHz to 56 GHz.

Rohde & Schwarz and TSN Systems provide nanosecond-precision latency measurements for automotive Ethernet

With radar, lidar and camera sensors present in automobiles, time sensitivity on networks becomes extremely important, as vast amounts of sensor data need to be transferred and processed within a few milliseconds. Test and measurement expert Rohde & Schwarz and time-sensitive networks specialist, TSN Systems have successfully cooperated on precise timing measurements for in-vehicle networks using automotive Ethernet 100BASE-T1.

Rohde & Schwarz first to equip test instruments with the new 1.35 mm E-band coaxial connector

By adding the R&S NRP90T und R&S NRP90TN models to its portfolio of thermal power sensors, Rohde & Schwarz releases the very first test and measurement instruments in the market to support the novel, robust 1.35 mm precision coaxial connector. The connector covers frequencies up to 90 GHz and shall be included in the next releases of both IEEE and IEC relevant standards. Rohde & Schwarz has been a partner in the 1.35 mm E connector development project since its beginning in 2017.

Acconeer chooses R&S FSW to develop new mmWave radar based sensor technology

Test and measurement expert Rohde & Schwarz has provided Acconeer, a specialist for pulsed coherent radar (PCR) and IoT, with an R&S FSW85 signal and spectrum analyzer. Acconeer will use it to develop A111, its low-power pulsed coherent radar sensor that operates in the 60 GHz unlicensed frequency band and is particularly suited to IoT applications.

Rohde & Schwarz and TE Connectivity successfully demonstrate compliance with OPEN Alliance TC9 test specifications

Test and measurement specialist Rohde & Schwarz and connectivity and sensor component manufacturer TE Connectivity cooperate on testing automotive Ethernet cables and connectors. The two companies have successfully tested a communication link, utilizing Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) cables and TE’s MATEnet data connector system, for compliance with the One-Pair Ethernet (OPEN) Alliance Technical Committee (TC) group 9 test specification for 1000BASE-T1.
