Dialight Opens New Technical Centre in Copenhagen

Copenhagen, Denmark (March 28, 2017) – Dialight (LSE: DIA.L."), the leading LED industrial lighting technology company, is pleased to announce the opening of a state-of-the-art -Technical Centre located in Copenhagen, Denmark. Dialight has chosen this location as the company has been operating out of Copenhagen for many years, developing and producing special solutions for the global wind power industry. The Copenhagen Technical Centre will support the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and will house Dialight’s regional sales, marketing, customer service, technical support and application engineering teams. The facility has been designed as a technical hub for the sales, service and support of robust industrial and hazardous area lighting products. The facility also features a new training centre.

The hoist is part of an overhead beam-crane system designed, manufactured and installed by Verlinde’s UK distributor, Pelloby.

Ten times more service life for linear guides in robotic welding applications

A manufacturer of sheet metal assemblies recently sought a solution to short lifespan issues with the drive and guide elements on its automated welding systems. In fact, the linear guides for a robotic welding gun on one particular production line had to be replaced every two or three months. Due to the cost of replacement parts and maintenance time, as well as equipment downtime, the company asked NSK to investigate and provide a proposal to address the problem.
